LIGHT SOURCE

Photograph seems to be the body which confined light.

However, I would like to free the light.

I believe that people harbor sacred and precious "light" in their body.

There are times when the "light" becomes stronger by snuggling up to each other,

as there may be times when it hurts one another.

People would call it a soul, and may also give it another name.

I chose photography as a process towards its "light".

In this artwork, the photograph which confined light is regarded as

a similar structure to a body of human being.

The image of light begins to dissolve there, and it will be freed from the form.

Eventually, the image burns into the retina as though it overflowed from the frame of photograph,

and we will begin to see a glimpse of it in a variety of light.

By freeing the light from photographs,

I would like to express the “light” which lives in the human body with joy.
